Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information VaultEdge collects through vaultedgesecurity.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.
01Who we are
VaultEdge (“VaultEdge”, “we”, “us”) is a network change management platform in active development, operated from Rochester, New York, United States. VaultEdge is the controller of the personal information described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or your information: hello@vaultedgesecurity.com.
02Scope
This policy covers the VaultEdge marketing website at vaultedgesecurity.com. It does not cover the VaultEdge product itself, which is not generally available. If and when the product is released, its use will be governed by separate product and data-processing terms.
03What we collect
Information you give us
If you submit the early-access request form, we collect the fields you complete:
- Name — so we can address you correctly.
- Work email address — so we can reply.
- Company — to understand the kind of organization you work in.
- Team type — for example MSP, systems integrator, or internal infrastructure team.
- Current network-change workflow — the free-text description you provide.
If you email us directly, we receive the contents of your message and your email address.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server and request logs, which may include your IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for delivery, security, and abuse prevention.
We do not run advertising trackers, cross-site tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on this website.
Local storage
The website stores a single preference in your browser’s local storage, under the key ve-theme, to remember whether you chose the dark or light appearance. It is not a cookie, it is not sent to our servers, and it contains no identifying information. You can clear it at any time through your browser’s site-data controls.
04Why we use it
| Information | Purpose | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Early-access form fields | Respond to your request, evaluate fit for the early-access group, and prioritize integration work | Steps taken at your request; legitimate interest in developing the product |
| Email correspondence | Answer your questions and maintain a record of the exchange | Legitimate interest in responding to enquiries |
| Server and request logs | Serve the site, diagnose faults, and prevent abuse | Legitimate interest in operating a secure service |
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
05Service providers
We use a small number of providers to operate the website. They process information on our instructions only:
- Netlify — website hosting and form submission handling. Early-access form submissions are transmitted to and stored by Netlify’s form service before reaching us.
- Email provider — delivery and storage of correspondence sent to our published address.
- Font delivery (Fontshare, Google Fonts) — the site requests typefaces from these services, which necessarily receive your IP address as part of the request.
These providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where information is transferred out of the UK or European Economic Area, we rely on the provider’s standard contractual clauses or an equivalent approved transfer mechanism.
06How long we keep it
We keep early-access request details for as long as we are actively evaluating or maintaining the early-access group, and for up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Email correspondence is retained for as long as it remains commercially relevant. Server logs are retained for the period set by our hosting provider, typically no more than 30 days.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Delete your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of information you provided to us.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these, email hello@vaultedgesecurity.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right. If you are in the UK or EEA and are unsatisfied with our response, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
08Security
The website is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. Access to submitted information is limited to the people who need it to operate the early-access programme.
09Children
This website is directed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
10Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product and our practices develop. The “last updated” date above will change when we do. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will contact you at the email address you provided.
